Through its <strong>Ripacycle<\/strong> programme and a structured CSR policy, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sefmat.com\/en\/\"><strong>GROUPE SEFMAT<\/strong><\/a> demonstrates that an industrial player can combine performance, environmental responsibility, and social commitment. SEFMAT is fully engaged in a circular economy approach, waste reduction, and respect for all stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A circular programme at the heart of industry: RIPACYCLE<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Launched in 2025, <strong>RIPACYCLE<\/strong> is a free recycling and reconditioning service for used shrink guns, available throughout the European Community. This unique programme allows users to easily return their old equipment, regardless of brand. Functional parts are dismantled and reused in second-hand devices, while unusable components are redirected to partner recycling channels, favouring short supply chains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>RIPACYCLE aims to significantly reduce industrial waste while raising professional awareness of the importance of recycling and reuse. The scheme is designed to be incentive-based: each equipment return offers the user a choice between a \u20ac100 voucher, a donation of equivalent value to a selected environmental charity, or the purchase of a refurbished shrink gun. This hands-on approach aligns with SEFMAT\u2019s values and its ambition to foster a more responsible industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A structured environmental policy<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Beyond Ripacycle, SEFMAT is actively committed to ecological transition. The company is a shareholder in <a href=\"https:\/\/team-planet.com\/en\"><strong>Team for the Planet<\/strong><\/a>, an impact-driven initiative contributing to carbon footprint reduction, with an estimated 20 tonnes of CO\u2082 avoided in 2023. It also owns <strong>85 trees<\/strong> through its partnership with <a href=\"https:\/\/ecotree.green\/en\/companies\/about\"><strong>Ecotree<\/strong><\/a>, strengthening its reforestation efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Employees are encouraged to adopt low-impact mobility through dedicated incentives and free access to electric vehicle charging points. Additionally, SEFMAT has reformed its raw material purchasing processes to eliminate problematic metals and is a member of <a href=\"https:\/\/reseau-ziri.com\/ecologie\/\"><strong>ZIRI<\/strong><\/a>, an ethical purchasing consortium focused on the green economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Waste management is strictly regulated through partnerships with specialised organisations such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.brangeon.fr\/\"><strong>Brangeon<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/clikeco.com\/\"><strong>Clickeco<\/strong><\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/ecomegot.com\/\"><strong>Eco M\u00e9got<\/strong><\/a>. All waste streams are covered, from cardboard and aluminium to plastics, printer cartridges, cigarette butts and aerosols.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong>A strong social and societal dimension<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>SEFMAT\u2019s commitment goes beyond the environment. The company also leads numerous actions with a human and local focus. It is a signatory of the <strong>UN <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/unglobalcompact.org\/\"><strong>Global Compact<\/strong><\/a> and takes concrete steps towards inclusion, solidarity, and quality of life at work. Partnerships with <strong>ESATs<\/strong> support green space maintenance and product procurement, while employees with disabilities are integrated in collaboration with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.institut-don-bosco.fr\/\"><strong>Don Bosco Institute<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company supports several local causes, including the loan of logistical equipment to charities such as <a href=\"https:\/\/lesrobinsdelarue.org\/\"><strong>Robin des Rues<\/strong><\/a>, and the collection of cork and plastic bottle tops for the benefit of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bergonie.fr\/\"><strong>Bergoni\u00e9 Institute<\/strong><\/a>.
