SEFMAT has been a leader for over 100 years in the design of technical flames, particularly in the manufacturing of heating tools for packaging and thermal weeding.

The high quality and reparability of our products, combined with our desire to innovate in recycling and refurbishing industrial tools, have led to the RIPACYCLE® project.

REDUCE, REFURBISH, REVALUE

We are now going further by engaging directly with our users. With RIPACYCLE®, we offer recycling and refurbishment of used RIPACK® shrink guns, which are designed for shrinking LDPE films. This means going one step further by offering a free service to our customers (including free shipping and recycling costs). No more excuses or uncertainty about disposing of an old shrink gun—RIPACYCLE® collects unusable shrink guns and gives them a second life.

Once a shrink gun is collected, it is dismantled. Reusable parts are qualified and put back into service in refurbished shrink guns. Unusable parts are sent into a recycling process through carefully selected local partners. The criteria for choosing companies for recycling and reuse include proximity, inclusiveness, and innovation.

The Groupe SEFMAT, already a shareholder of "Team for the Planet", also decided through RIPACYCLE® to allocate donations to an environmental association. A responsible choice that engages users who wish to recycle their shrink guns, regardless of the brand. Because protecting the planet is everyone’s business—and everyone’s responsibility!
